The Spiral Effect...

Dear Readers,

Today when I got up in the morning there was a sense of something which was not right, It was just a feeling, though this should have not been the case as it was a friday that meant the last day of a working week but it was a strange feeling, this could be related to what I have been stressing myself with for the past couple of days, Financial Tension.

With every passing month the disposable income of my family has seen a drastic fall also taking into account the recent developments happening all around us, the economy slowing down, Credit Crunch, prices of basic commodities shooting up, oil & gas prices shooting up etc.

The un-easiness that I was feeling in the morning multiplied when I heard the morning news, Crude Oil Price being at an all time high of $135. The news felt like 'The last nail in the coffin', with so much happening around and the stress that a working person endures, the question that arises in my mind is; Is this what LIFE is all about?????

Just thinking about oil prices touching the $150 p/b by the end of 2008 was scary enough. Imagine the consequence of that; prices of basic commodities like food and clothing goes up due to the global logistical cost, higher taxes, inflation increasing, decrease in the monthly savings and even lesser disposable income for your family.

Its a spiraling effect that would impact every individual across the economic spectrum.

Survival getting tougher by the minute...Life getting shorter by the day...What next????

Arun
